Refund & Return Policy
At Shaw’s Maple Products, we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our goods. To ensure full transparency and comply with New York State consumer protection laws, please review our comprehensive return and refund policy below.
1. Food & Perishable Items
For health, safety, and quality control reasons, we cannot accept returns on any food products, including maple syrups, creams, candies, or pantry items. All sales of food items are final.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will gladly issue a full refund to your original payment method or send a replacement at no additional cost. Please provide proof of purchase and a photograph of the damaged item when reaching out.
3. Non-Food Merchandise
For non-food items (e.g., apparel, accessories, or gifts), we accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with proof of purchase.
4. Fees and Shipping Costs
We do not charge any restocking fees for returned items. However, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is a direct result of our error (such as receiving an incorrect or defective item).
5. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
